NOS Auto-Lite Solar Spark 12-volt distributor with vacuum advance for WWII Dodge WC 1/2-ton Radio Command vehicles. Distributor model IGS-4114. These distributors were stored in their original cosmoline-coated boxes, and each unit was partially coated with cosmoline for long-term preservation.

Used on the special 12-volt radio-equipped Command Cars, which incorporated shielded ignition components to reduce electrical interference with the radio equipment.

IMPORTANT: This distributor includes the standard distributor cap shown in the photos. It does not include the special external metal radio-suppression shield/cover, shielded spark-plug wires or related shielded fittings. The distributor can operate without this shielding, but the original radio-interference suppression system will not be complete.

T-211 APPLICATION NOTE: T-211 engines beginning with serial number 42002 used a different distributor. Verify your engine model, serial number and existing distributor before ordering.

NOS CONDITION: This is an original New Old Stock electrical component that has not been tested or rebuilt. Storage wear, minor scratches, paint loss and variations in the original finish may be present, but there are no signs of any major oxidation. The internal components were exceptionally clean, so we felt it was best to preserve the original high-quality components rather than rebuild the distributor. See the product photo showing the internal condition. Due to its age, inspection before installation is recommended.
