Designed as a troop carrier, the 6x6 was produced only as an open cab weapons carrier body with extended cargo bed. Out of the two 6x6 models available, model WC-62 was equipped without winch, while the WC-63 had an extended frame and added winch assembly.
The engineering code given this truck was T-223 and it appears as the first part of the engine serial number on the left side of the block. Since most parts were interchangeable with the 3/4-ton 4x4, availability is also good including a large stock of rear axle and suspension parts.
