Does the web store have online check out?
Yes. You can check out online, but there is a two-part checkout process:
- Add items to cart and check out with shipping information (no payment required at this time). Be sure to carefully verify that the shipping address is correct and select a shipping service so we can calculate shipping charges.
- After order is complete, packaged & weighed: Receive online invoice via email & pay by entering your credit/debit card information. Please verify the items on your order are correct and contact us before paying if you have any issues/concerns with your invoice.
Will Vintage Power Wagons call me when my online order is ready?
In most cases we don't call when you place an order online, we mostly communicate through email. Please keep an eye on the email account associated with your store account as we will notify you there when your order is ready for payment.
Will shipping be calculated when I check out?
We are not able to calculate shipping prior to checkout at this time. We will instead send an online invoice, once we have all of your items ready and have packaged/weighed your order.
How long after I place my order will I receive an online invoice?
Expect an online invoice within several days of placing your order in most cases. Keep in mind that orders with built-per-order products may have extra processing/building time for these items, so your invoice will come at a later date. Most built to order products have a general timeframe on the product page, but there's always a chance it could be more or less depending on our order volume. Please contact us if you need an update on a built to order product.
How long do I have to pay my online invoice?
You have 5 days after the invoice is issued to pay it. Online orders held for payment will be canceled/restocked after 5 business days of non-payment.
How long after I pay my invoice will my order be shipped?
Once your order has been paid in full, it will be shipped same business day or the next business day. Online invoices paid on Saturday & Sunday will be processed/shipped the following Monday.
Can I use a Vintage Power Wagons gift certificate to pay for my online order?
Yes, just include your gift certificate number (located in the upper right corner of the certificate) in the notes section of the check out page. We will issue your invoice (minus the amount of the gift certificate) to be paid in full if there is a remaining balance.
What if an item on my order is out of stock?
If we find that something on your order is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as we can via email, and will cancel this item from your order.
Can an out of stock item be backordered through the webstore?
Our web store doesn’t allow for backorders; however, many items use a back-in-stock notification system where you can sign up to be notified via email when items are restocked.
Can I see backordered items in the online store?
Backorders will not be visible in your online order history, and cannot be combined with another online order.
Are all of our products available online?
We have about half of our total inventory available in the online store, and will continue to add more parts every week, but please keep in mind some items will not be available for online purchase. Occasionally, you may also notice a product might suddenly change or disappear from the store. This may happen as we complete product listings & sort products as some items may need to be disabled or hidden until complete or otherwise available. We apologize in advance if you experience these situations, but please feel free to contact us if you have any unexpected issues or questions about our products.
Can I combine an online order with an offline/phone order?
It is also important to note our web store uses a different system than our phone orders, so we are unable to combine online and phone orders at this time.
