The Story

My husband John bought this WC54 ambulance back in the 1980s, I think from Dave Butler. John swapped out the Flat-head 6 for V-8 took it camping in the deserts of California, Arizona and Nevada and Utah. He also used it to tow his race car.

After he died, I kept the truck because it has such beautiful lines. I spent many years with the Orange County Military Vehicle group taking the truck to various events and parades. I also used it to tow my race car even though the steering is pretty much Armstrong.

The ambulance and I are in South Carolina now where she got a good going-over and repaint. But with no events and a few years on me, I've decided to sell her.
