Measuring Free Arch
- Place the spring right-side up on a flat surface, unloaded.
- Run a straight line (string/straightedge) between the center of both spring eyes.
- Measure the vertical gap from that line down to the top of the spring at the center bolt.
Free Arch = gap only. Do not include the thickness of the spring.
