Rebuilt Carter DTG1 Ball & Ball single-barrel carburetor for 1950–1953 Dodge B-Series 1/2- and 3/4-ton trucks equipped with Fluid Drive.

The DTG1 is specifically designed for Fluid Drive applications and features a throttle-control dashpot that slows the closing of the throttle during shifting. This distinguishes it from similar Carter DTE-series carburetors used on trucks with a conventional clutch and transmission.

This original Carter carburetor has been completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected and professionally rebuilt with new service components. The carburetor is supplied with the Fluid Drive dashpot assembly shown in the product photos.

Please verify that your original carburetor is marked DTG1 and compare its linkage and dashpot configuration with the product photos before ordering. Final idle-speed and mixture adjustments may be required after installation.

Core Charge: This carburetor is sold with a refundable core charge. To receive a full core refund, your returned core must be a complete, rebuildable Carter DTG1 carburetor. Cracked, broken, severely corroded, incomplete or incorrect carburetors may receive a reduced refund or may not qualify for a refund.
