33rd Annual Power Wagon Rally Update
We have had a lot of folks asking if we will be cancelling our Annual Rally and to this we must say that we do not have definite plans to cancel the Annual Rally at this time but there is a possibility that it could happen. We are going to wait until April 15th at which point we will decide whether or not to cancel Rally. If by the 15th of April we are still seeing a lot of folks under strict orders to stay inside and not travel, we will likely be forced to cancel the Rally but we are currently still doing what we can to keep everything on schedule. We will be sure to keep everyone up-to-date on any changes that manifest. If Rally cancellation happens, we will update everyone after April 15th in regards to refunding Rally Registration fees. If you had reservations with one of the local hotels here in Fairfield Iowa, we ask that you call them to verify or cancel your reservations depending on your situation.
Health Concerns At Vintage Power Wagons
We know many of you are quite concerned for your health at this time and we would like to do our part in keeping everyone safe. Due to the onset of Covid-19, we ask that you refrain from visiting Vintage Power Wagons until further notice as we want to keep our employees and customers as safe as possible. We will be turning away walk-in customers until further notice. We are still open for all normal phone & web orders, just not walk-in customers. Our shop and parts services are still operational but some parts are hard to come by right now as many of the companies we rely on are closing their doors for the time being. We will still be shipping parts so feel free to place an order with us. We ask that you use special care when receiving your parts as there is a chance that your order has come in contact with the virus during shipping. A recent study shows that the virus can live for quite some time outside of the body so we urge you all to use the utmost caution when handling any shipments you receive. We advise all of you to keep your distance from others and do your best to connect with friends and family via cell phone & social networking.
Supply Chain Interruptions & Order Delays
Shipping & Freight: As some states in the US as well as countries around the world have moved to an "Essential Items Only" shipping/freight policy, we expect to see some delays on orders being shipped and freighted. We advise you to stay up to date on the recent regulations in your state or country before ordering so you can avoid any extra delays or issues. Please be patient with any orders you place with us. We will do our best to handle each and every order we receive in a timely fashion but we cannot promise that delivery times will be what you would normally expect.
Supply Chain Delays / Parts Out Of Stock: We have already seen some of the companies and individuals we normally work with closing their businesses for an undetermined amount of time. Certain parts and services may be unavailable at this time as we rely on multiple companies to manufacture and/or rebuild parts for us. We don't have a complete list of parts affected by this recent change and we expect to see more changes from our vendors in the future. We will do our best to keep you posted. Feel free to call us with any questions you have about parts you are considering ordering.
We will be closed for Christmas Eve (Dec 24th), Christmas Day (Dec 25th), New Year's Eve (Dec 31st) and New Year's Day (Jan 1st).
