A
popular tire for most driving
conditions

To
the left is a photograph of
the M615 ambulance restoration
we did for Copperfield Chimney
Supply.
We chose the STA Superlug
Mud & Snow tires for
this truck. This is one of the
tire types we sell. Though not
stock, these tires have the
rugged Power Wagon look, and
will do well in the various
road conditions this truck will
encounter.
See
below for the full selection
of tires, tubes and flaps available.

CHOOSING
YOUR TIRE
|
Three
types of tires are available from Vintage
Power Wagons -- Two (2) Mud & Snow,
and one (1) Military Non-directional,
in various sizes and diameters to fit
the different truck types. Please see
the descriptions below for the correct
tire(s) for your truck and application.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Most tire manufactures recommend
that when replacing tires, the tubes and
flaps are replaced as well. (Dont
use new tires with old tubes/flaps)

MUD
& SNOW TIRES...
Lots of driving, or driving in mud, snow,
or ice? Choose the Mud & Snow type of
tire. These are not the stock tires, but they
do a better job of handling different road
conditions. Better also for non-paved surfaces,
and off-road driving. |
 |
MILITARY
NON-DIRECTIONAL TIRES...
Doing a restoration, and want your truck to
look like the original? Choose the Military
Non-directional type of tire. All military
models, and the Type D civilian models, were
originally issued with the Military Non-directional
tires. These tires we sell are excellent quality,
and have the correct look for a show truck.
The Military Non-directional tires can handle
some mud, but arent as good at maneuvering
in snow and ice as the Mud & Snow tires.
