In Memory of Patrick Connor Morton by steven

Patrick Connor Morton, 13 of Fairfield Iowa passed away Friday Jan. 16th 2009 at his home.  Patrick was born July 31st 1995 to Gregg and LuAnn Bedell Morton in Ottumwa Iowa.    Gregg and LuAnn are very much involved in the Power Wagon Rally this year and have been supporters in the past with the Power Wagon Rally.  Gregg has been known to take vacation time and just show up at Vintage Power Wagons to lend a hand where ever it is needed.

The M-101 Trailer, Cargo, 3/4 ton is a single axle, two wheel, steel frame cargo trailer designed to be towed by a 3/4 ton or larger truck. A welded steel box body is bolted to the frame.   The M101 is designed to operate on all types of roads, cross-country terrain, and in all weather conditions. There are no restrictions on the M101 for movement over primary and secondary roads, however, it is restricted to a maximum speed of 15 mph when towed cross-country.

With over 25 years of experience, our shop can help you with some of the challenges that come with restoring or repairing an old Power Wagon.  Over the years our shop has seen many different Power Wagons.  Our shop has worked on Power Wagons from WWII to 1971 and many share common needs, primarily due to their age and neglect.  Currently we have been working on Bill Cooper's 1951 Power Wagon.  Bill found this nice Power Wagon up in Canada, and it needed some work which we have completed.

If you've been looking for some hard to find parts for the 1946-50 Civilian Power Wagon, you will be happy to know that we will sell you the parts off of this Power Wagon.   This truck has a good used pickup box(SOLD) that was used by a fire department who put a rough hole in each bed side that can be easily repaired.  The left bed side fender is in decent shape and the right one has the rear bottom part rotted off.  Looking at the front of the truck it has a couple of nice complete

Last week we received a telephone call from Sherman and Will Day.  This Father and Son team had driven their M38A1 Jeep from New York to the Portland Oregon National Military Vehicle show and were in route home when their voltage regulator failed.
